The Dutch Accreditation Council (Raad voor Accreditatie, or RvA) is the Dutch national accreditation body designated by the Dutch National Accreditation Body Appointment Act (Wanai). The RvA assesses and evaluates the expertise and independence of inspection bodies and certification bodies as well as medical, calibration and test laboratories. Both national and international consumers require certainty about the quality of the goods or services provided to them. A supplier can have their product or service tested objectively by a laboratory, certification body or inspection body. The RvA aims for international recognition and acceptance of their accreditations.
Certification from the RvA guarantees the quality and independence of test laboratories such as Nutrilab. Nutrilab is registered with the RvA as a test laboratory under registration number L136 for the areas further defined in the accreditation scope. Nutrilab’s scope continues to expand each year with newly accredited analyses.
