Nutrilab registered as a GMP+ TS 4.1- and TS 4.2 laboratory

GMP+ International is an independent organisation that manages the GMP+ Feed Certification Scheme. This scheme comprises two modules: GMP+ Feed Safety Assurance (GMP+ FSA) and GMP+ Feed Responsibility Assurance (GMP+ FRA). GMP+ is a certification for animal feed companies across the globe.

The GMP+ standards define the conditions for guaranteeing animal feed safety, based on legislative regulations and additional market demands. One of these standards is the GMP+ TS 4.1 for Laboratory Testing. Nutrilab is a GMP+ TS 4.1-certified laboratory. The scope describes which analyses fall under the TS 4.1 classification. As of 1 January 2010, companies who are GMP+ B1, B1.2, B2 or B3 certified are required to make use of GMP+ TS 4.2 registered laboratories for the analysis of critical contaminants. These contaminants are aflatoxin B1, dioxin/dioxin-like PCBs/non-dioxin-like PCBs, fluor, heavy metals (As, Cd, Hg and Pb) and pesticides. Nutrilab is registered as a GMP+ TS 4.2 laboratory.
